  1. Goal (the district's words)

    • “Approval of this Resolution will net approximately $364,120 in savings to the general fund.”

Not enough data · Review date September 15, 2024 · Not yet invited

The district's 2023-24 year-end summary (Unaudited Actuals, approved September 10, 2024) lists the general fund ending balance by type of reserve, and the standard year-end reports show certificated salaries as district-wide totals. Neither breaks out the positions in this resolution, so the public record doesn't show the savings either way. This is normal for these reports and isn't a sign that anything went wrong.

What would settle it: The cost of the specific certificated positions reduced for 2023-24, and the general fund savings that resulted (the district estimated about $364,120).

  2. Goal (the district's words)

    • “The estimated fiscal impact will be a savings of approximately $5,000.00.”

Not enough data · Review date September 15, 2024 · Not yet invited

The district's 2023-24 year-end summary (Unaudited Actuals, approved September 10, 2024) lists the general fund ending balance by type of reserve, and the standard year-end reports show classified salaries as district-wide totals. Neither breaks out a single position, so the public record can't show whether the estimated savings happened. This is normal for these reports.

What would settle it: The salary and benefit cost of the former Lead Bus Driver/Trainer position compared with the new Delegated Behind-The-Wheel Trainer position.
