Good evening, President and members of the Board. My name is {{NAME}}{{ABOUT}}.

I'd like to thank the Board and staff for the work behind "Retirement incentive offer (PARS Supplementary Retirement Plan)," which the Board approved on December 12, 2023 (agenda item 17.2).

At the time, the district shared this goal: "The goal of the program is to generate savings by increasing the number of retirements in the 2023-2024 school year." It also said: "The Supplementary Retirement Plan (SRP) is designed to generate savings for the District."

The first full year of results was expected to be available by September 15, 2025. The district's budget reports show totals for whole categories, so the results of this specific decision aren't broken out, and I wasn't able to find a separate update yet.

A short public update on how this decision turned out, including the actual figures, would help our community see what's working. I'd be grateful if the district could share one at a future meeting or in a written report.
